DIY Hairbows! <3

Hey everyone! I think bows are the cutest thing ever, they are my favorite hair accessory. But whenever i get a new hairbow i kinda think “You know what, this is kinda expensive” Then I always think that I can make this myself with a way more cheaper price! and I will also have the freedom to get whatever color I want, whatever pattern i want. So guess what guys! I learned, how to make my own hairbows! And I’ll be sharing it to you guys 🙂

Let’s get started!

What you need:

• Your choice of fabric
• Any type of hairclips that you prefer
• Glue gun with glue stick
• Pair of scissors

First you need to lay the fabric inside out, and go ahead and fold it one time, but this fabric is pretty thin so I’m folding it two times.

Cut out all the excess and glue gun that last fold to keep in place.

Since i don’t want my bow to be too long, I’m just cutting out some of the length.

Then you’re gonna go ahead and fold the fabric so the two opposite ends are touching. And taking your hot glue gun, you’re just gonna glue that little area.

Pressing firmly so it stays.

Then what you’re gonna do is, pinch the middle of the fabric, and that is how we create our bow shape! 🙂 Once you have pinch it, glue the little creases. Just so it stays in place.

Now taking a little scrap piece of fabric, fold that a few times. Cut the excess and glue gunning to make that fine little strip.

If the strip is too long you could cut out any unnecessary fabric.

And what you do is wrap that around in the center of the bow, where we pinch it earlier. and hot glue gun in place. Make sure to glue it at the back of the bow, so you don’t see that little area where we cut it.

We’re almost done!

Now its time for the hair clip, you could use any clip that you prefer. And just apply a little bit of glue to the back of my hair bow, and taking the clip. you hold it there firmly a few seconds so it sets

and then I’m also gluing the very ends of the clip to the bow as well. hold in place, this also helps the shape of the bow.

And there you go! That is how you make this adorable hairbows! ❤
