DIY Heart Back Top!

What you’ll need:

  • Old shirt
  • Fabric scissors / Fabric cutter
  • Cutting board

First you need to print out some heart shapes or you could just sketch your own.Now take your cutting board and place it inside your shirt so we don’t cut all the way through.

Image

Now place your heart onto the shirt and trace it Β And then with your scissors, you cut it.

Image

These step is optional but personally I like to make a no sleeve look to my shirt. Taking my scissors, cutting the sleeves making it kinda like a muscle tank.

DIY Peter Pan Collar Necklaces!

Hey Everyone!

I’ll be showing you guys how to make this really cute Peter pan collar necklaces. I dunno about you, but I’m a huge fan of the peter pan collar trend right now. What I’m not a fan of is, going to a store seeing a top, dress or whatever it is with a peter pan collar, because I only want the collar, not the rest of the clothe. So with this peter pan collar you could add it with any basic top or dress, which is fantastic πŸ™‚

Let’s get started!

What you’ll need:

  • Any felt of your choice
  • Pattern
  • Tacky Glue
  • Pearls, glitter, brads, or studs
  • Ribbon
  • Brush
  • Scissors

So, all these necklaces require the same base. Take the piece of felt and fold it in half, Take the pattern and line it with the fold side of the felt. Outline the pattern and cut them out

Image

Next, paint the glue all over the color with your brush.

Image

Glitter time! Sprinkle the glitter all over the collar, make sure to make a good covering. Any color of your choice πŸ™‚

Image

Shake out any excess glitter, and let them dry a little bit.

Grab the ribbon and wrap it around your neck for measurement, and cut the ribbon in half for two equal pieces. Take some glue and apply it to the tip of the necklace, and attach the ribbon.

Image

You don’t have to worry about them splitting apart, because the glue is really strong and the necklace is pretty light.

And then this is what you end up with, a really pretty glittery collar πŸ™‚

Image

So that’s one necklace down, and moving on to the studded necklace.

I just used the exact same base on a different color of felt. and now taking some brads and just pressing the brads through the felt, its really easy. And you just flip it over and fold down the stud prongs.

Image

All that’s left to do is cut your ribbon and glue it on.

Image

You could put another felt on the back to cover the prongs. But since it won’t scratch my skin. I didn’t. Its completely optional.

After letting it dry. There we have it, our studded collar πŸ™‚

Image

Now for the pearled necklace, outline the outer edge with the glue and line the pearls around the edge.

Image

For the middle section, I find it easier to work in patches because it dries to fast. And then take a handful of pearls and sprinkle then over the glue. Press them down, repeat that across the middle section.

Image

Just cut the ribbon and glue it at the back of the collar. And that is pretty much it. I recommend to let this dry overnight. Because there is more glue involved. And when you wake up you’ll end up with a pretty collar like this πŸ™‚

That is is πŸ™‚ I hope you enjoyed and found this helpful πŸ™‚

DIY Hairbows! <3

Hey everyone! I think bows are the cutest thing ever, they are my favorite hair accessory. But whenever i get a new hairbow i kinda think “You know what, this is kinda expensive” Then I always think that I can make this myself with a way more cheaper price! and I will also have the freedom to get whatever color I want, whatever pattern i want. So guess what guys! I learned, how to make my own hairbows! And I’ll be sharing it to you guys πŸ™‚

Let’s get started!

What you need:

  • Your choice of fabric
  • Any type of hairclips that you prefer
  • Glue gun with glue stick
  • Pair of scissors

ImageImageImageImage

First you need to lay the fabric inside out, and go ahead and fold it one time, but this fabric is pretty thin so I’m folding it two times.

Image

Cut out all the excess and glue gun that last fold to keep in place.

Image

Since i don’t want my bow to be too long, I’m just cutting out some of the length.

Image

Then you’re gonna go ahead and fold the fabric so the two opposite ends are touching. And taking your hot glue gun, you’re just gonna glue that little area.

Image

Pressing firmly so it stays.

Then what you’re gonna do is, pinch the middle of the fabric, and that is how we create our bow shape! πŸ™‚ Once you have pinch it, glue the little creases. Just so it stays in place.ImageImage

Pressing firmly.

Now taking a little scrap piece of fabric, fold that a few times. Cut the excess and glue gunning to make that fine little strip.

Image

If the strip is too long you could cut out any unnecessary fabric.

And what you do is wrap that around in the center of the bow, where we pinch it earlier. and hot glue gun in place. Make sure to glue it at the back of the bow, so you don’t see that little area where we cut it.Image

We’re almost done!

Now its time for the hair clip, you could use any clip that you prefer. And just apply a little bit of glue to the back of my hair bow, and taking the clip. you hold it there firmly a few seconds so it sets

Image

and then I’m also gluing the very ends of the clip to the bow as well. hold in place, this also helps the shape of the bow.

Image

And there you go! That is how you make this adorable hairbows! ❀

Image

I’m a pro! On burning myself with the hot glue gun πŸ™‚

So I hope you guys enjoyed this Bow DIY πŸ™‚ I hope this is helpful.
